Sunday turned out to be the more eventful day of the weekend. Played some soccer, in true Free Agent team fashion — once one person said they’re not coming out, almost no one else showed up. Well, at least Ross did, and Christy showed up late. One of the teams that we played that was really angry throughout the game was practicing right next to us — how convenient.

But, what I’m really getting to is that I went to a bonfire after — to see one of my friends and help her run a bit of an event for one of the residences. Aside from the fact that I’m pretty much awesome at starting bonfires and that I may have almost pushed 3 random people into a lake, what I wanted to say is that Japanese kids are effing cute beyond what should be reasonably allowed! One of the families that came out had two daughters. If I had to guess one was around 7 and one was around 5. They were so polite! And they just came to Canada only one week ago — in fact, they didn’t know the place they were moving into didn’t have furniture, so they had to sleep on the floor :( But, they’ve also never had smores! Now, I’m sorry, no pictures — but picture the cutest kid ever having a smore for the first time ever and I think you see what I’m getting at here. She took a bite, got some on herself and then with a huge smile she turned to her mom and she was like “Oishii!”.

It was great!

Bonus was that the waiter at the place where we went to have dinner after didn’t subtly hit on me. That’s almost always a nice thing XD
