I feel like I owe some people some updates around here. It’s definitely been a while since I’ve posted anything meaningful. Okay, okay, comics don’t completely count. But adopting ninjas is a serious issue!
So lets get on with this, shall we? First of all, about half a year ago Alice sent me an email to join Twitter. At the time I definitely just skipped over it, but now that I’m finding that Facebook is more and more of a waste of my time and I can’t seem to keep this thing updated; Twitter actually makes sense! So more frequent and possibly more pointless updates there
Those flowers were really pretty — when they were around. This is now about a month old now. Yep, took me that long to get around to getting it from my cell camera to here! But it also makes a really nice cell phone background, maybe it’ll work well on the new iPhone?
We’ve been getting a lot of rain here lately. Which is really nice, especially when it’s been warm. If I had the time I’ve usually taken the opportunity to just go outside and bike around in the rain and through some puddles. It’s sometimes hard around here because you gotta find the puddles where the geese haven’t made a mess!
Yep, getting really used to clouds like that. It was just raining earlier and there was lightning, really high up though, the thunder takes forever to get to us.
In exchange for that we’ve been getting some fantastic sunsets. While I haven’t captured them all and my camera continues to be pretty much a failure in comparison to anything that’s actually a camera, I thought I’d still share some of them with ya — time flies by the way — these are over the length of a month that featured midterms, games upon games of volleyball and soccer, a bruised something in my chest and a walk in the Relay for Life.

It was really, really awesome to just see it over the whole sky. This was over CIF on my way back from a volleyball game.

This was a rarity for a while. The sun just peeking out of the cloud.

Just took this one about an hour back, the burning sky in the background
And that’s about all for now. Say hi in the comments if you haven’t in a while! ![]()
Over reading week I got a chance to visit the Toronto Auto Show. It was a cool first time experience courtesy of being invited by some friends from my first year res — oh how long ago that feels like now. I’m pretty sure I haven’t been to an auto show of any sorts before, but I could be wrong, for some reason I think I may have been to just one. We went on a holiday, which of course meant that the place was absolutely packed >.<
One thing that really puzzled me is how many people were there with very young children. And I mean like under 10 young. There were so many of them! My other social observation of the crowds is that guys like to have a picture taken while making a ridiculous facial expression in the seat of an open top car. Women like to check out the trunk of any car they touch, the SUVs and hatchbacks that have the huge rear door seem to be a bonus for them.
But, lets have some pictures. I feel like mine turned out ok, considering I'm still taking them with my cell phone. Adrian of course had his DSLR along. I’m pretty sure if we ever see his pictures there won’t even be close of a comparison XD
I can’t remember who made this or what it was called. But I don’t really have any other weird car pictures, so I figured I’d snag this one. Could you actually imagine having a party in the back of one of these?!

The sexy Jaguar that Top Gear recently called the one that finally brings the kick back. I’d drive that.

In the back there is the Mercedes SLR that was impossible to get close to. I’m not sure who decided to place a showcase car right next to a wall on one side and a display stand at its nose! In front is a Maybach of some sorts. What’s really cool about this brand is you can customize it however you want when you order it. They’ll mix custom colours, they’ll change any component inside, they’ll put in a backtub, whatever you want as long as you have the money to pay. It’s also totally integrated with trendy technology inside like wireless and Bluetooth which adds geek points.

Mr. Bond would be so proud of this baby. He actually had one in a very recent movie that I’m in love with. It’s too bad he crashed it in it
Ok, here is perhaps one of the most anticipated cars in North America. The Nissan GTR. I have to be totally honest and admit to liking the looks of the previous models a bit more then this one. But hey, at least this one is legally coming to North America!
Purrrr!
Most of us came to an agreement that we didn’t really know what Pontiac was thinking on this one. I mean it’s kinda cool, but totally not practical and just weird. But it does look pretty, so here you go.
There weren’t a lot of exotics around, but I had to get at least some Italian flavour in there. I didn’t so much care for the colour choice. That blueish tint looked even worse in person than it does now in this picture.
And finally… I can’t remember what it was, but it’s orange!
In closing, parking in Toronto is effing expensive!
It snowed quite a bit here recently.
For some reason at 2am last night while talking to Andrew and Sanya I failed to purge the idea of really wanting to go out and go for a walk in the snow.
Sanya has mentioned that I may be more crazy then she is. We’ve also created a theory that I might really be a bear.
Andrew just thinks I’m insane.
Here’s something for you to listen to while you browse:
If you’re into very nice vocal, Puccini - O Mio Babbino Caro or if you’re more into electronic/dance, Armin Van Buren - Serenity.
Ok feet, I hope you like your lack of winter shoes. Good thing it was below zero so nothing was wet or melting. Let’s get walking!

Lights of the fast food plaza. No thanks to that. I do like the tracks in the snow — I always wonder who left that.

I also really like pine trees. Probably more so then deciduous trees. Especially, obviously, in winter. I really liked this setting. If maybe someone was around that bench could make a fun seat.

This is what I really love though. There is a path here. There is also a road here. There is even a train track here. But you can’t tell can you? Neither can I.
![]()
More of unknown tracks. Ok I lied, I saw one of the cars that made them. It was amusing because I was walking in the middle of the road and it’s hard to hear cars in snow with a hood on. True story.

Sup. One of a few pictures of myself that I don’t want to go POOF!

Since no trip is complete without snow art and I wasn’t in the mood for snowmen; I give you the alternative. Have some <3 from Moo. In case you're into that whole angle and position thing you get two pictures.

Are you joking me? You actually thought I wasn’t just going to flop into the snow? LOL, please.
![]()
I was walking along, then I decided to just take off and fly.

The night must have at least one artificial sun.

Interesting looking pictures or me getting snow into the pocket where my camera phone was. You decide.

This is where I started. Probably some 30 minutes ago. I guess to answer the last question in about another 30 minutes, not much.

There was an elaborate drawing on that paper there. Which was really my Economics project. But since none of it came through to the picture I improvised quickly and badly.

Early Gray and a Mint Tea from the foothills of a volcano, beat that!

That was fun!
Tell me what you think. Tell me if you’ve had any weird ideas recently? Did you do them? Why not?! ![]()
So on a certain weekend day, I was just sitting in my room, doing some reading to music while my laundry did whatever it does in the magical machines that give me clean clothes for money. Steph, the Don above me was being very active tonight. It seemed kind of weird, and I thought I heard some other disturbances (no, not in the force), but I wrote them off to the strong winds we’ve been having over the last couple of days. This was after a while getting too strange (ok, who am I kidding, it was time to move my laundry to the dryer phase). Upon opening my door, I’ve discovered something…
