Went to do some shopping today before my class. I ended up getting some shorts, because it’s getting entirely too hot for pants and jeans, a light t-shirt for soccer (mmm…) and the main attractions which follow!

First of all, meet my new toy, the Nintendo DS! I haven’t named it yet, but I probably should, it was an awesome birthday present from Sharon and Adam! The other item, Puzzle Quest, as presented by PA is the new purchase of the day. I meant to get it earlier, it was actually the game I tried to find for Sharon’s birthday in April, but it was impossible to get without hounding the store on the day it arrived XD I mainly got it because my Econ statistics class is taught by a professor who seems really bad. She also spends an hour on items that should take 10 minutes and then 2 hours the next class reviewing them. So, here’s to passing time

*Glazed puppy eyes with tears go here*, it’s been a really long time since I had proper soccer cleats. I had them in grade school, or was it just at the beginning of high school when I played soccer here for a bit. I can’t remember those, but then before those I had a really nice set of Puma ones which I think I grew out of. Anyway, meet the new pair
I picked them up at SportsCheck, a bit of a tense moment there, because there weren’t really any others that I liked, except a really, really expensive pair that I probably wouldn’t have bought. So when the sales guy came back saying he could only find 11 1/2 after I asked for a size 12 I was like “common, fit!” and they did! So yeah, my first official season game is this Thursday, Rhesa is coming out as my “coach” as he said haha, and I think we’re playing again for fun on Friday. These are going to get a lot of use this summer!
So yeah, with Sharon on her Japan adventure I wanted some things to fill in the extra time and these two seemed like the best choices. I also got some book with 4 fictional short stories about events in history that could have gone differently — it was $4 — so I couldn’t really say no.
